GENERAL INFO
The Jefferson Sprint Triathlon takes place at Fry's Spring Beach Club in the beautiful Fry's Spring neighborhood at 2512 Jefferson Park Avenue, Charlottesville, VA 22903 (Just minutes from the UVA campus). It is the perfect end of the season pool swim triathlon for beginners and seasoned triathletes!

Swim:
The swim is a 350 Meter (3.5 lap) pool swim in the Fry's Spring Beach Club outdoor long course pool (50 Meter). In order to seed yourself in the swim follow the swim instructions here.
Bike:
The bike is a 12 mile out and back course on rolling hills. There is an elevation gain on the way out and a nice rolling hills descent on the way back.
Run:
The 3 mile run is 2/3 relatively flat and 1/3 moderately hilly. Just after mile 1 there is a .5 mile downhill and then a .5 mile graduall uphill. The last mile is mostly flat with a slight downhill on the last half mile stretch to the finish!

It is highly recommended to pick up your race packet on Friday so that you may put your race numbers on your bike, helmet, and shirt or race belt the night before the race.

RACE DAY INFO
Beginner Friendly Triathlon
The Jefferson Sprint Triathlon welcomes and encourages beginner triathletes as well as seasoned triathletes. Enjoy a scenic race with in the City of Charlottesville and the home of Thomas Jefferson.
All participants must be able to complete the race with in 2hrs30min's.
Please refrain from wearing headphones. Anyone who does so will be disqualified. For more triathlon rules please click here to go to the USATriathlon website (www.usatriathlon.org).
WATER STOP & POST RACE SNACKS
A water stop will not be available on the bike. Bring your own water bottle for the bike. On the run a water stop will be available near the half way point. Post race refreshments will be available for participants and volunteers on the grounds of Fry's Spring Beach Club.
PARKING
Plenty of parking will be available in the surrounding Fry's Spring Neighborhood side roads. Limited parking spaces will also be available in the Fry's Spring Beach Club parking lot. This will be first come first serve on race morning. Please do not park directly in front of any driveways or next to a possible NO PARKING SIGN due to the race course needing this space. Thank you!
AWARDS:
The top three male and females will receive various prizes or gift certificates donated from local businesses.
Awards and other various prizes will also be presented to the top 3 in each 5 five-year age group. Please check back regularly to find out further updates on prizes from local sponsors.
PACKET PICKUP
Race packets may be picked up on TBA from 3:00-6:00 PM at Fry's Spring Beach Club.
You may not pick up someone else's race packet.
ENTRY RULES and INFORMATION
Entry fees are non-refundable and entries are non-transferable. You may transfer your entry to being part of a relay team providing the cost difference is made up. All online registrants who provide a valid e-mail address will receive a confirmation e-mail. Online registration will close on To Be Announced. If the race is not sold out Walk-Up registration will be allowed at packet pickup on TBA from 4:00-7:00 PM. There will be NO race day registration.
PARTICIPANT INFORMATION
The Jefferson Sprint Triathlon is limited to 200 participants. Sign up early to guarantee your entry!
