Kate Lucas helped me reach my goals and worked with my crazy schedule.  Her coaching helped me surpass my goals for this years Sandman Sprint Tri on September 20, 2009 and I would recommend her to anyone out there that is a beginner or novice like me.  I learned so much about nutrition and the right way to train. With out her I would not have been able to do this.  I have a long ways to go to hang with the local ironman and half ironman studs, but Kate put me on the right path. Bryan improved his 2009 Sandman Tri swim by 3 minutes, his bike by 13 minutes and his run by 10 minutes. Results are based from Bryan's 2008 Sandman Triathlon and compared to his 2009 Sandman Triathlon. Bryan also beat his July 4th, 2009 - 5k race time, after swimming & biking in the Sandman Tri, by nearly :15 seconds per mile. Bryan trained with Kate Lucas 11 weeks prior to his 2009 Sandman Triathlon race. Congrats, Bryan!!

CMS is also about team work and training with partners or groups. Kate Lucas can recommend a local group to train with on those days you need a little more motivation, or she can help connect you with a training partner. If you are local, consider joining the Charlottesville Triathlon Club. For those interested in racing there are local teams as well. We love the great outdoors and have fun swimming, biking, and running together.
