Kate Lucas

Kate Lucas began her triathlon career in 2000 with the Sport XTERRA off-road triathlon in Richmond, Virginia. Finishing 2nd in her age group, Kate went on to either win or be the top 3 female overall in numerous local road and off-road triathlons with in the last ten years. She has also qualified for the XTERRA World Championship 4x the last six years and completed her first Ironman in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho in June 2010.

By request in recent years, Kate has coached several beginner and intermediate triathletes and runners to race successfully and greatly improve their fitness level and lifestyle habits. Kate started Charlottesville Multisports to share her triathlon and other endurance sports passion, knowledge and expertise.
